Seoul: Thursday's closing prices on the KOSPI 200, as reported by the Korea Stock Exchange, showed varied performances among the listed companies. While several stocks experienced gains, others saw declines or remained unchanged.
According to Yonhap News Agency, CJ CheilJedang recorded a substantial increase, closing at 243,500 KRW, up by 6,000 KRW. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries also saw a significant rise, closing at 366,000 KRW, marking an increase of 13,000 KRW. Other notable gains included MiwonComcl, which rose by 5,200 KRW to close at 189,500 KRW, and SamyangFood, which increased by 4,000 KRW to end at 936,000 KRW.
Meanwhile, some stocks faced declines. TaekwangInd dropped by 12,000 KRW to 665,000 KRW, and Shinsegae fell by 700 KRW to close at 145,300 KRW. POSCO INTERNATIONAL and DB INSURANCE also experienced decreases, closing at 52,700 KRW and 84,500 KRW, respectively.
Stocks that remained stable included HyundaiMtr, SeAH Steel Holdings, and SamaAlum. The overall market movement highlighted a day of varied performances for the KOSPI 200 companies.
