Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a varied performance with several companies experiencing significant fluctuations. While some stocks saw a rise in their closing prices, others faced declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, among the companies with notable gains, APR closed at 60,100, marking an increase of 6,000. LOTTE WELLFOOD also saw a rise, closing at 114,400, an increase of 1,600. In the technology sector, Kakao's shares increased by 2,350, closing at 44,450. Meanwhile, Hanwha Ocean experienced an increase of 1,500, closing at 74,000. SamyangFood witnessed an appreciable gain, with its stock price rising by 8,000 to close at 884,000.
On the other hand, some companies faced declines. NAVER's stock decreased by 12,500, closing at 219,000. Celltrion's shares dropped by 6,600, ending at a price of 182,700. KIWOOM saw a decrease of 2,800, closing at 117,700. Hyundai Rotem also faced a decline, with its shares dropping by 3,000 to close at 82,600. In addition, KT and G experienced a decrease of 4,000, closing at 100,100.
