KOSPI 200 Stocks See Mixed Results with Notable Gains

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange saw a variety of movements in their closing prices on Monday. Notable gains were recorded by several key companies, contributing to the overall activity observed in the market.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SKC closed at 99,900 KRW, marking a rise of 2,500 KRW. Similarly, Mirae Asset Securities saw an increase of 510 KRW, closing at 18,300 KRW. Korea Zinc experienced an upward movement, closing at 817,000 KRW, up by 6,000 KRW. Hanwha Solutions and Lotte Chemical Corp also recorded gains, closing at 29,400 KRW and 65,300 KRW, respectively.

Further gains were noted with Youngone Holdings closing at 122,400 KRW, and HD Hyundai Mipo recorded a decrease, closing at 190,700 KRW, down by 900 KRW. HMM also saw a decline, closing at 22,450 KRW with a decrease of 150 KRW.

Significant gains were achieved by Hanwha Aerospace, closing at 903,000 KRW, up by 12,000 KRW. Kumho Petrochemical and OCI Holdings also showed positive movements, closing at 113,300 KRW and 90,600 KRW, respectively.

Among other noteworthy performances, LS Electric increased by 5,000 KRW to close at 286,500 KRW. SK Telecom, however, saw a decrease, closing at 55,200 KRW, down by 300 KRW. SK hynix recorded a substantial gain, closing at 259,500 KRW, up by 8,500 KRW.
