KOSPI 200 Stocks See Varied Movements, NAVER and NCsoft Lead Gains

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed mixed movements among its stocks during Thursday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange. Among the notable performers, NAVER and NCsoft made significant gains, bolstering the index's overall performance.

According to Yonhap News Agency, NAVER's stock price surged by 7,000 KRW, closing at 235,500 KRW, while NCsoft saw an increase of 7,600 KRW, ending at 203,500 KRW. Other prominent gainers included COSMAX, which climbed 9,000 KRW to close at 266,000 KRW, and HYUNDAIGLOVIS, which rose by 7,200 KRW to reach 166,700 KRW.

In contrast, several stocks experienced declines. LGCHEM's stock decreased by 8,500 KRW to close at 292,500 KRW, while Korea Aerospace dropped by 1,600 KRW, finishing at 93,500 KRW. Celltrion also fell by 6,000 KRW, ending the day at 172,500 KRW.

The session also saw stability in some stocks, with POSCO INTERNATIONAL and LIG Nex1 maintaining their previous closing prices at 48,200 KRW and 603,000 KRW, respectively. The mixed performance across various sectors reflects the dynamic nature of the market amid ongoing economic conditions.
