Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks demonstrated a mixed performance on the main Korea Stock Exchange on Tuesday, with notable fluctuations in the closing prices. Among the key players, Yuhan closed at 106,400 KRW, experiencing a decline of 1,200 KRW, while SLCORP saw an increase of 250 KRW, reaching 32,100 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, significant gains were observed in several stocks. DOOSAN marked a substantial rise, closing at 601,000 KRW, up by 41,000 KRW. HyundaiEng and Const also recorded an increase, closing at 73,700 KRW, up by 2,000 KRW. SamyangFood witnessed a considerable surge, closing at 1,436,000 KRW, an increase of 102,000 KRW.
On the other hand, several stocks faced declines. CJ LOGISTICS fell by 1,200 KRW, closing at 89,700 KRW. Nongshim experienced a drop of 10,500 KRW, closing at 394,500 KRW. POSCO Holdings also saw a decline, ending the day at 311,000 KRW, down by 2,500 KRW.
The stock market's varied performance reflects the dynamic nature of the KOSPI 200, with both upward and downward trends affecting various sectors.
