The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 25-point-60 points, or zero-point-98 percent, on Friday, ending the week at two-thousand-638-point-05.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining two-point-54 points, or zero-point-29 percent, to close at 873-point-97.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened ten-point-eight won against the dollar, ending the week at one-thousand-256-point-two won.
