The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell zero-point-42 points, or zero-point-02 percent, on Monday, closing the day at two-thousand-729-point-56.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing seven-point-58 points, or zero-point-81 percent, to close at 927-point-11.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened eight-point-five won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-227-point-three won.
