The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell two-point-85 points, or zero-point-11 percent, on Monday, closing the day at two-thousand-693-point-21.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing six-point-21 points, or zero-point-67 percent, to close at 918-point-23.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened four-point-eight won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-234-point-four won.
