The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 31-point-61 points, or one-point-20 percent, on Monday, closing the day at two-thousand-669-point-66.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 12-point-47 points, or one-point-43 percent, to close at 886-point-44.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened 17-point-six won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-238-point-six won.
