The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose five-point-58 points, or zero-point-22 percent, on Tuesday, closing the day at two-thousand-553-point-52.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining three-point-11 points, or zero-point-37 percent, to close at 834-point-74.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened five-point-seven won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-308-point-one won.
