The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 17-point-05 points, or zero-point-67 percent, on Wednesday, closing the day at two-thousand-516-point-47.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing seven-point-32 points, or zero-point-88 percent, to close at 827-point-42.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two-point-two won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-310-point-three won.
