The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 15-point-88 points, or zero-point-67 percent, on Wednesday, closing the day at two-thousand-386-point-85.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining eight-point-39 points, or one-point-07 percent, to close at 790-point-72.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-five won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-312-point-nine won.
