‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Soundtrack Drops to No. 2 on Billboard Albums Chart


Los angeles: The soundtrack for Netflix’s hit animated film “Kpop Demon Hunters” fell one spot to No. 2 in its 13th week on Billboard’s main albums chart.



According to Yonhap News Agency, a Billboard preview released Sunday (U.S. time) indicated that the album came in behind American rock duo Twenty One Pilots’ latest release, “Breach,” a week after topping the Billboard 200. The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums of the week in the United States, measured by equivalent album units, comprising physical sales, track-equivalent units, and streaming-equivalent units.



During the latest tracking week, the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack earned 112,000 equivalent album units, down 12 percent from the previous week. Since debuting at No. 8, the soundtrack has remained in the top 10 for all 13 weeks on the chart.
