Lee Jung-hoo Extends Hitting Streak to Seven Games for San Francisco Giants


San Diego: Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants has extended his hitting streak to seven games, maintaining a strong performance in his second Major League Baseball season.



According to Yonhap News Agency, Lee started in center field and batted third in the lineup against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park in San Diego, California. In Wednesday’s game, he went 1-for-4 with an RBI, which brought his season batting average to .319, accumulating 37 hits in 116 at-bats.



Lee’s recent performances have been consistent, with at least one hit in each of the last seven games. His current streak began with a three-hit game against the Milwaukee Brewers on April 24. Despite Lee’s contributions, the Giants suffered a 5-3 loss to the Padres, marking their second consecutive defeat.
