Seoul: LG Electronics Inc. announced Wednesday its agreement with CSC ServiceWorks Inc., a prominent U.S. laundry service firm, enhancing its business-to-business (B2B) operations by supplying commercial washers. The collaboration aims to amplify LG's footprint in the North American commercial washer market.
According to Yonhap News Agency, CSC ServiceWorks manages 1.5 million commercial laundry machines across the U.S. and Canada, catering to multifamily residences, commercial facilities, and various industries. As part of this partnership, LG will integrate its smart laundry service solutions through the Laundry Crew app, enabling operators to remotely manage machines and receive malfunction alerts.
LG Electronics emphasizes that this initiative continues its strategic growth within the B2B sector. The company recently secured a contract to supply washers to WASH, another significant U.S.-based laundry service provider.
According to Research and Markets, the U.S. commercial washing machine market was valued at $1.43 billion in 2024, with an anticipated annual growth rate of 5.6 percent through 2029. LG Electronics stated, "With our industry-leading technology and trusted brand, we aim to establish ourselves as a key player in the global commercial washer and dryer market."
