Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a range of movements with stocks experiencing varied shifts in their closing prices. Among the notable changes, HYOSUNG HEAVY saw a significant increase, closing at 484,500 with an increase of 25,000, while LS ELECTRIC faced a substantial decline, closing at 187,400, down by 4,900.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several other stocks also witnessed notable fluctuations. HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES experienced a decline, closing at 399,500, down by 3,500. In contrast, SamsungF and MIns recorded an upward movement, closing at 364,000 with an increase of 3,500. Similarly, HANWHA AEROSPACE increased by 3,000 to close at 827,000, and HD HYUNDAI MIPO closed at 166,500, up by 3,000.
On the other hand, OTOKI faced a decrease, closing at 398,500, down by 3,000, while DOOSAN also saw a decline, closing at 305,500, down by 3,000. The energy sector reflected mixed results with LG Energy Solution rising by 2,500 to close at 346,000, whereas KPIC and KumhoPetrochem both closed down by 900, at 87,900 and 118,100 respectively.
The financial and logistics sectors also showed varied performances; GS E and C went up by 740 to close at 17,980, and CJ LOGISTICS increased by 400 to close at 82,900. Conversely, Samsung SDI CO., LTD. dropped by 900, closing at 184,200, and SamsungElecMech fell by 1,700 to 121,300.
Overall, the closing prices of the KOSPI 200 stocks reflected a day of mixed outcomes, highlighting the dynamic nature of the market.
