Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showcased a blend of gains and losses in its latest trading session, with several companies experiencing notable changes in their stock prices.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanchem recorded an increase of 4,700, closing at 118,400. DWS also saw a rise, closing at 34,100, up by 700. In contrast, KEPCO experienced a decrease, closing at 25,200, down by 150. SamsungSecu ended the session at 47,750, marking an upward movement of 500.
SKTelecom's stock price fell by 1,200, closing at 57,600, while Hyundai Elevator dropped by 400 to end at 70,100. Meanwhile, SAMSUNG SDS saw an increase, closing at 119,200, up by 1,400. KOREA AEROSPACE reported a decline, closing at 80,400, down by 2,800.
KUMHOTIRE and Hanon Systems reported gains, closing at 4,595 and 3,500, respectively. SK saw a notable rise, closing at 131,200, up by 2,700. On the other hand, COWAY decreased by 100, ending at 78,600, and LOTTE SHOPPING fell by 1,300, closing at 66,200.
Other significant movements included POSCO DX rising by 1,750 to close at 25,400, and Doosanfc increased by 1,010, closing at 15,200. ILJIN HYSOLUS also reported gains, closing at 13,470, up by 790. Kakao's stock went up by 200, ending at 39,400.
DONGSUH and SamsungE and A experienced upward trends, closing at 25,450 and 19,690, respectively. SAMSUNG C and T rose by 1,800, ending at 117,600, while PanOcean closed up 40 at 3,320. In contrast, CheilWorldwide saw a decrease of 30, closing at 18,160.
LOTTE WELLFOOD and KT showed increases, closing at 117,500 and 49,700, respectively, while LG Uplus gained 10, ending at 11,700. SAMSUNG LIFE increased by 800, closing at 83,000. KT and G, however, experienced a drop of 1,600, closing at 112,900.
LG Display and Kangwonland reported gains, closing at 8,480 and 15,950, respectively. NAVER saw a decrease of 800, ending at 192,900. Hanwha's stock rose by 50, closing at 44,550.
CJ experienced a significant rise, closing at 116,200, up by 2,700. LX INT also reported gains, ending at 25,850. DOOSAN and NCsoft saw substantial increases, closing at 297,500 and 141,800, respectively. Lastly, HANATOUR SERVICE and COSMAX closed at 50,700 and 166,100, respectively, both showing upward trends.
