Seoul: North Korea fired multiple unidentified ballistic missiles toward the Yellow Sea on Monday, South Korea's military reported.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) detected the missile launch originating from North Korea's Hwanghae Province at approximately 1:50 p.m. Specific details regarding the type and number of missiles were not disclosed by the military.
The JCS announced that it has increased surveillance efforts and is maintaining a full readiness posture. This heightened state of alert is being conducted in close cooperation with the United States to address any potential threats.
