NCSOFT Corp., a leading South Korean game developer, has announced a content distribution collaboration deal with the local animation streaming platform Laftel. The agreement was disclosed on Friday, highlighting a significant expansion in NCSOFT's entertainment offerings.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the deal involves Laftel distributing 3,800 titles of animation content to NCSOFT's NC Family Zone (NCFZ) PC cafes, with the rollout starting on September 18. The partnership is expected to enhance the entertainment experience at NCFZ locations.
NCSOFT plans to initiate several promotional events at its NCFZ internet cafes to leverage the new content offerings. The company expressed that the collaboration aims to create a synergy between gaming and animation, positioning NCFZ PC cafes as emerging cultural spaces.
