Nongshim to Release New Batch of ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Instant Noodles

Seoul: Nongshim Co., South Korea's leading instant noodle maker, announced plans to release a second batch of its Shin Ramyun product featuring characters from the animated movie "KPop Demon Hunters" this week. The special edition is part of a collaboration that began last month.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the limited product includes packs of six Shin Ramyun cup noodles, each showcasing a member of the virtual girl group Huntrix from the film - Rumi, Mira, and Zoey - on the packaging. Sales are scheduled to commence at 10 a.m. on Friday through the company's online shopping platform.

Nongshim reported that the initial batch of 1,000 units sold out in under two minutes last month. A company representative stated, "We prepared more units than the first release to meet strong demand."

The collaboration was enabled by the movie's depiction of Korean food, which includes cup noodles and snacks that closely resemble Nongshim's products.
