Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Arrives in South Korea for APEC CEO Summit Participation

Seoul: Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang arrived in South Korea to engage in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit and meet with prominent local and global business leaders. Huang landed at Incheon International Airport and is scheduled to have discussions with Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung and Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong in Seoul.

According to Yonhap News Agency, this visit marks Huang’s first trip to South Korea since 2010. During his stay, he will also attend an event in southern Seoul commemorating the 25th anniversary of Nvidia’s GeForce graphics processing unit. On Friday, Huang is set to participate in the APEC CEO Summit in Gyeongju, where he will outline Nvidia’s vision for collaboration with South Korean enterprises.

Huang mentioned in a recent event in Washington that a “delightful” announcement is on the horizon for South Koreans and U.S. President Donald Trump during his Asian visit. However, upon his arrival at the airport, Huang refrained from disclosing any details concerning this announcement.

Industry sources suggest that Nvidia is anticipated to finalize supply agreements for artificial intelligence chips with major South Korean companies, including Samsung Electronics, SK Group, Hyundai Motor Group, and Naver Corp.
