KUALA LUMPUR, The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) swept three prestigious awards at the StarProperty Awards 2024 – Real Estate Developer held at the One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya, yesterday.
The three awards won by PKNS were The Cornerstone Award – Best Landed Development for the Puteri Ariana project in Kota Puteri; The Family Friendly Award – Best Family Centric Development (Landed) – within Greater KL for the Ixora project at Antara Gapi; and Readers’ Choice Award – Newsmaker of the Year for the 2023 Discover PKNS Campaign.
The group’s chief executive officer Datuk Mahmud Abbas said PKNS was always committed to ensuring quality development, addressing market demands for quality homes, landscaping and placing people at the forefront of its endeavours by providing affordable housing solutions.
‘This awards are a benchmark to show that we are on the right path as well as provide inspiration and motivation to develop properties that can help elevate the living quality and lifestyle of the peo
ple.
‘The recognition is also an endorsement for us to continue moving forward and hoist PKNS to a higher level,’ he said in the statement today.
According to the statement, the awards do not only reflect the dedication of the corporation to continue raising the bar in the property development sector that fulfill the high level of specification and meeting the expectation of buyers but provides a positive impact on the community and building industry in general.
The recognition would also inspire the corporation to work harder to achieve the desired results.
The general manager of Pembangunan Antara Gapi PKNS Lenny Liana Kasmain represented the corporation to receive The Family Friendly Award – Best Family Centric Development (Landed) – within Greater KL for the Ixora project.
For The Cornerstone Award – Best Landed Development for the Puteri Ariana project, Pembangunan Kota Puteri PKNS general manager Mohd Shahrol Md Sharif stepped up to receive the award while General Manager for Sales and Marketing Fa
dli Mohd Ariff received the Readers’ Choice Award – Newsmaker of the Year for the the 2023 Discover PKNS Campaign.
PKNS entered the Property Awards – Real Estate Developer for the second time while the first participation last year saw PKNS being awarded The Starter Home Award-Best Primary Home Development Award for the Advena Residential Project.
The statement added that the StarProperty Award organised by StarProperty Sdn Bhd is the best platform and receives the best recognition for every property development.
This year’s award involved 39 categories whereby individuals and property development companies that qualify for the role they play in the development of the property development industry in the country.
