Police, CIO, Presidential Security Service Meet to Discuss Warrant Execution for Yoon

Seoul: The police, the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO), and the Presidential Security Service convened on Tuesday to discuss the execution of a warrant aimed at detaining President Yoon Suk Yeol related to his brief imposition of martial law.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the meeting arises amidst speculation that investigators are preparing to make a second attempt to detain Yoon this week. This follows a previous unsuccessful effort earlier in the month. The discussions are seen as a significant development in the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the president's actions.
