Polls Indicate Lee Jae-myung’s Lead Over Kim Moon-soo in Upcoming Election

Seoul: Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung is projected to win approximately 50 percent of the vote, maintaining a lead over People Power Party candidate Kim Moon-soo by at least 7.5 percentage points, as indicated by four separate polls released on Tuesday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, a JTBC poll estimated that Lee would secure 50.6 percent of the vote compared to Kim's 39.4 percent. Similarly, a Channel A poll suggested Lee's lead with 51.1 percent against Kim's 38.9 percent.

Further supporting this trend, an MBN poll forecasted that Lee would receive 49.2 percent of the vote, surpassing Kim's 41.7 percent. Additionally, a joint exit poll conducted by KBS, MBC, and SBS showed Lee leading with 51.7 percent, while Kim lagged behind at 39.3 percent.
