Record Number of South Korean Companies to Exhibit at CES 2025

SEOUL: A record-breaking 1,031 South Korean companies are set to participate in CES 2025, highlighting the country's growing role in global technology innovation. This marks an increase from 772 companies last year, as reported by industry data on Thursday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, South Korea now ranks third in the number of participating companies at CES, trailing only the United States, with 1,509 firms, and China, with 1,339. The event, recognized as the world's largest tech exhibition, will commence on Tuesday in Las Vegas, featuring approximately 4,800 companies from 160 countries.

South Korean companies have shown a steady increase in participation over recent years, with the number rising from 502 in 2022 to this year's 1,031. Notably, 641 of these participants are startups, many of which will present their advancements in Eureka Park, a designated area at CES for startups and emerging entrepreneurs.
