S. Korean Bond Yields Experience Slight Increases Across Most Terms

Seoul: South Korean bond yields experienced slight increases across most terms on October 21, 2025, as observed in the latest financial data. The 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) yield rose to 2.321% from the previous session's 2.310%, marking an increase of 1.1 basis points. The 2-year TB yield increased by 2.8 basis points, reaching 2.541%, while the 3-year TB saw a rise of 3.1 basis points, moving to 2.600%. Additionally, the 10-year TB yield also noted an uptick, climbing 1.2 basis points to settle at 2.904%.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield also experienced a rise, moving from 2.501% to 2.524%, a change of 2.3 basis points. The 3-year Corporate Bond (CB) with an AA- rating recorded a yield increase of 2.0 basis points, reaching 3.024%. Meanwhile, the 91-day Certificate of Deposit (CD) maintained its previous yield at 2.540%, showing no change from the previous session.
