New york: The Korea Exchange (KRX), South Korea's main bourse operator, has announced the opening of its new office in New York as part of its strategy to enhance its presence in the North American region. The opening ceremony for the office located in Manhattan is scheduled for Monday, with attendees including the head of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) and representatives from global financial institutions.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the New York office aims to bolster marketing and networking efforts with institutional investors, brokerages, and global financial institutions based in the city.
