Seoul: Samsung Card Co. announced on Friday that its second-quarter net profit dropped to 151.2 billion won (US$110.2 million), marking an 18.2 percent decrease compared to the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the April-June period also saw a decline, reaching 200.5 billion won, which is a 19.3 percent fall from the previous year. Despite these decreases in profit, Samsung Card's revenue experienced a growth of 15.4 percent, totaling 1.25 trillion won for the quarter.
