Tokyo: Samsung Display Co. has announced a collaborative marketing effort with NCSOFT Corp., a prominent South Korean game developer, during a Japanese gaming festival. The initiative is centered on showcasing Samsung's latest organic light-emitting diode (OLED) products.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Display is utilizing the Tokyo Game Show 2025, which commenced Thursday and spans four days, to exhibit NCSOFT's action role-playing game, Limit Zero Breakers. The game is being showcased on various devices equipped with Samsung's OLED panels, despite its official release being scheduled for next year.
Attendees of the exhibition have the opportunity to experience the game on smartphones, laptops, and gaming monitors featuring Samsung's OLED technology. "Games are content that most vividly reflect a display's resolution performance and technology," stated a Samsung Display official. They emphasized that visitors would be able to experience the distinct resolution of Limit Zero Breakers, achievable only through OLED technology.
In addition to the gaming demonstration, Samsung Display is presenting other advanced products in development. These include next-generation multi-foldable screens capable of folding inwards and outwards twice, showcasing the company's innovation in display technology.
