Seoul: Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance Co. on Wednesday reported its second-quarter net profit of 638.4 billion won (US$460.2 million), marking a 4.2 percent increase from the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating income for the April-June period was 811.5 billion won, representing a 3.7 percent increase from a year ago. Additionally, sales rose significantly by 24.1 percent, reaching 6.85 trillion won.
