New York: Samsung Electronics Co. announced it will hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event in New York next month to unveil the latest Galaxy Z series smartphones, which will feature advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and an ultra-slim foldable design.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the event is scheduled to take place in Brooklyn, New York, at 10 a.m. on July 9 (U.S. time). It will be held under the theme "The Ultra Experience Is Ready To Unfold" and will be livestreamed on YouTube and the company's website, as confirmed by Samsung Electronics.
Samsung Electronics emphasized in its invitation that smartphones are evolving beyond mere collections of apps and tools, becoming smart companions that understand user intent and respond in real time. The next-generation Galaxy devices are being redesigned around a new AI-powered interface, supported by breakthrough hardware to unlock their full potential.
The company is anticipated to introduce the latest models in its foldable lineup, specifically the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. An earlier teaser by Samsung highlighted larger screens, enhanced cameras, and upgraded AI features as significant improvements in the upcoming devices.
Samsung Electronics typically holds its Unpacked events twice a year, in winter and summer. The previous event took place in San Jose in January, where the company introduced the flagship Galaxy S25 series.
