Significant Movements in KOSPI 200 as Multiple Stocks Experience Price Fluctuations


Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced notable fluctuations in stock prices during Tuesday’s trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange. A range of stocks showed varying performance, with both gains and losses recorded across different sectors.



According to Yonhap News Agency, several stocks experienced an increase in their closing prices. BGF Retail saw a slight rise, closing at 108,000 KRW, an increase of 100 KRW. Hanssem also recorded an uptick, closing at 45,300 KRW, up by 300 KRW. DL E and C’s stock rose to 41,900 KRW, up by 500 KRW, while HYOSUNG HEAVY recorded a significant gain, closing at 1,340,000 KRW, up by 3,000 KRW. SKSQUARE and KCC witnessed substantial gains, closing at 201,500 KRW and 384,000 KRW, with increases of 4,400 KRW and 25,000 KRW, respectively. HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES and LS also saw their stock prices rise, closing at 515,000 KRW and 167,000 KRW, up by 23,500 KRW and 4,700 KRW, respectively.



Conversely, several stocks experienced declines in their closing prices. SKCHEM fell to 57,900 KRW, a decrease of 1,600 KRW, and F and F closed at 62,700 KRW, down by 900 KRW. HYOSUNG TNC dropped to 214,000 KRW, a decrease of 2,000 KRW. LG Energy Solution and HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED also recorded declines, closing at 347,500 KRW and 180,100 KRW, down by 4,000 KRW and 1,400 KRW, respectively. Other stocks that saw declines included YoulchonChem, SKBS, WooriFinancialGroup, and KakaoBank, among others.



Overall, the trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange showed a mixed performance, with both gains and losses affecting the KOSPI 200 index. Investors observed varying movements across different sectors, reflecting the dynamic nature of the stock market.
