South Korea Braces for Rainy Thursday Across Major Cities

Seoul: South Korea's major cities are preparing for a rainy Thursday, with the weather forecast indicating significant precipitation across much of the country.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the forecast for Thursday suggests that regions including Seoul, Incheon, and Suwon will experience rain, with a high possibility of 80% precipitation. These cities will see temperatures around 18°C during the day and dropping to as low as 11°C at night.

Further inland, Cheongju and Daejeon are also expecting rain, with Cheongju facing a 90% possibility of rain and temperatures ranging between 22°C and 12°C. Chuncheon will similarly see rain with an 80% chance, and temperatures are expected to vary from 21°C to 9°C. Meanwhile, the coastal city of Gangneung will enjoy sunny weather, despite a 70% chance of rain, and temperatures between 25°C and 16°C.

The southern cities such as Jeonju, Gwangju, Jeju, and Busan are also forecasted to experience rain with a 70% chance. Jeonju and Gwangju will have temperatures hovering around 22°C and 20°C respectively, while Jeju and Busan will see temperatures between 22°C to 15°C. Conversely, Daegu is expected to enjoy sunny weather with a similar 70% chance of rain, with temperatures reaching up to 24°C during the day and dropping to 12°C at night.
