South Korean Bond Yields Experience Decline Across All Terms

Seoul: South Korean bond yields have shown a decline across various terms as observed on the morning of April 25, 2025. The yields of treasury bonds and monetary stabilization bonds have decreased from the previous session, reflecting a shift in the financial landscape.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond yield dropped to 2.396% from the previous session's 2.411%, marking a decrease of 1.5 basis points. The 2-year treasury bond yield saw a reduction of 3.7 basis points, settling at 2.356% compared to 2.393% in the prior session. The 3-year treasury bond yield also fell by 3.4 basis points, closing at 2.307%, down from 2.341%.

The 10-year treasury bond yield recorded a decrease of 4.1 basis points, moving to 2.582% from 2.623%. In the monetary stabilization bond sector, the 2-year MSB yield declined by 2.9 basis points to reach 2.345%, down from the previous session's 2.374%. Additionally, the 3-year corporate bond (AA-) yield decreased by 2.8 basis points, ending at 2.902% compared to 2.930%.
