South Korean Bond Yields Experience Slight Fluctuations

Seoul: South Korean bond yields experienced slight fluctuations on August 20, 2025, with minor changes observed across various tenors. The 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) saw a slight decline to 2.267% from the previous session's 2.268%, marking a change of -0.1 basis points. Meanwhile, the 2-year TB remained unchanged at 2.381%.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 3-year TB decreased by 0.3 basis points, settling at 2.441% compared to 2.444% in the previous session. The 10-year TB also saw a reduction, declining by 0.5 basis points to 2.853% from 2.858%.

The 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) experienced a drop of 0.7 basis points, moving from 2.398% to 2.391%. The 3-year Corporate Bond (CB) rated AA- recorded a marginal decrease of 0.1 basis points, closing at 2.923% from 2.924%.

The 91-day Certificate of Deposit (CD) remained stable at 2.520%, showing no change from the previous session.
