South Korean bond yields saw minor increases across all categories on August 22, 2025. The 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) yield rose to 2.269% from the previous session's 2.266%, marking a change of 0.3 basis points. The 2-year TB yield increased by 0.5 basis points, reaching 2.382% compared to the prior 2.377%. Additionally, the 3-year TB yield climbed to 2.456% from 2.438%, reflecting a 1.8 basis point rise. The 10-year TB yield experienced a rise of 1.5 basis points, moving to 2.860% from the previous 2.845%.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield also saw a slight increase, rising by 0.6 basis points from the previous session to 2.393% from 2.387%. Similarly, the 3-year Corporate Bond (CB) with an AA- rating experienced an increase of 1.1 basis points, moving from 2.921% to 2.932%. The 91-day Certificate of Deposit (CD) rate rose by 1.0 basis point, going from 2.520% to 2.530%.
