South Korean Bond Yields Experience Slight Increases Across Multiple Terms

Seoul: Bond yields in South Korea saw minor increases on the morning of October 21, 2025. The yields for various terms, including treasury bonds (TB) and monetary stabilization bonds (MSB), exhibited changes in basis points from the previous session.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond yield rose to 2.314% from 2.310%, marking a change of 0.4 basis points. The 2-year treasury bond yield experienced a more pronounced increase, rising by 2.6 basis points to reach 2.539% from the previous session's 2.513%.

Similarly, the 3-year treasury bond yield increased by 2.3 basis points, moving from 2.569% to 2.592%. The 10-year treasury bond yield also saw an increase, albeit a smaller one, rising by 1.0 basis point from 2.892% to 2.902%.

The 2-year monetary stabilization bond yield climbed by 1.7 basis points, reaching 2.518% from the previous 2.501%. Additionally, the 3-year corporate bond rated AA- saw an increase of 1.2 basis points, moving from 3.004% to 3.016%.
