Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remain largely unchanged, reflecting stability in short-term interest rates across the board. As of 11:00 a.m., the rates for various terms show minimal fluctuation.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week, 1-month, and 2-month rates stand steady at 2.50%, showing no change from the previous session. The 3-month rate also remains constant at 2.51%. Similarly, the 6-month rate holds at 2.55%. Notably, the 12-month rate shows a slight increase, moving from 2.54% to 2.55%.
The stability in KORIBOR suggests a consistent lending environment among banks, with minor adjustments observed only in the longer-term 12-month rate. This information provides insights into the current financial climate and expectations in the South Korean interbank market.
