Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a day of mixed results with significant fluctuations among listed companies. Prominent movements included TaekwangInd's share price increasing by 9,000, closing at 760,000, while the shares of POSCO FUTURE M saw a decrease of 4,500, ending at 140,900.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other significant gainers included Hanwha Vision, which rose by 1,800 to reach 55,700, and ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL, increasing by 1,100 to close at 53,100. Meanwhile, SKBS experienced a positive day with a rise of 1,650, closing at 42,700. Kia Corp. also saw a significant increase, closing at 100,400, up by 1,300.
On the other hand, some companies faced declines. Notably, LG H and H fell by 3,000 to settle at 327,000, and Nongshim decreased by 9,000, closing at 382,000. Hyundai M and F INS saw a decrease of 1,450, closing at 23,300.
Other changes included CJ's share price climbing by 4,000 to close at 109,300. Meanwhile, AMOREPACIFIC's shares dropped by 900 to 112,600. SK hynix observed an increase of 800, ending at 199,700. Additionally, companies like Hanwha Life and HANMISemi experienced upticks, with their shares rising by 65 and 600, respectively.
Overall, the market displayed a range of outcomes, with some companies witnessing gains while others faced declines, reflecting varied investor sentiments and market conditions.
