SIBU, Selangor dashed Sarawak's hopes of reaching the men's volleyball final at the 2024 Malaysia Games (SUKMA), prevailing in a gripping semi-final match at Taman Rejang Volleyball Stadium here today.Selangor will meet the Federal Territories (FT), who defeated Johor 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-23) in the other semi-final, in the gold medal decider on Friday.Despite losing the first set 23-25, Selangor, coached by Shamsaimon Mohd Sharit, bounced back with a solid 25-15 win in the second set.Sarawak, under Pang Sii Chuong, showed resilience in the third set but fell 21-25 due to Selangor's strong defence and effective spikes.Johor will play Sarawak tomorrow in the bronze-medal play off.Source: BERNAMA News Agency
