Sunny Skies Expected in Most of South Korea Despite Chances of Rain


Seoul: Friday’s weather forecast for South Korea indicates sunny conditions in several major cities, although there remains a significant possibility of rain. The forecast, provided at 9:01 a.m., highlights varying weather conditions across the region.



According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul is expected to experience a high of 19°C and a low of 10°C, with sunny skies and a 60% chance of rain. Similarly, Incheon and Suwon will also enjoy sunshine, sharing the same probability of precipitation. Incheon will see temperatures ranging from 18°C to 11°C, while Suwon will have a high of 20°C and a low of 09°C.



Cheongju and Chuncheon will face different conditions, with Cheongju experiencing cloudy weather and a lower 20% chance of rain, having temperatures peaking at 20°C and dipping to 09°C. Chuncheon, on the other hand, will have a 30% chance of precipitation under cloudy skies, with temperatures at 19°C and 07°C.



Gangneung and Daejeon are forecast to enjoy sunny weather, both with a 20% chance of rainfall. Gangneung will have temperatures between 18°C and 11°C, while Daejeon will range from 20°C to 07°C.



Jeonju and Gwangju will also see varied weather. Jeonju will be cloudy with a 20% chance of rain and temperatures from 21°C to 08°C. Gwangju, however, will be sunny and share the same probability of rain, with temperatures between 21°C and 10°C.



The southern regions, including Jeju, Daegu, and Busan, will experience cloudy conditions. Jeju will have the lowest chance of rain at 10%, with temperatures between 21°C and 17°C. Daegu, also with a 10% likelihood of rain, will see temperatures from 19°C to 08°C. Busan is set for a cloudy day with a 20% chance of rain and temperatures ranging from 21°C to 13°C.
