Incheon: K-pop boy bands Tomorrow X Together (TXT) and Enhypen are set to headline the 2025 Weverse Con Festival, where veteran artist BoA will be celebrated with a special tribute stage commemorating her 25th anniversary, as announced by organizers.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the annual festival, hosted by Hybe and its K-pop fan community platform Weverse, is scheduled to occur from May 31 to June 1 at the Inspire Entertainment Resort in Incheon, near Seoul. This year's festival boasts the largest lineup to date, featuring 27 acts from various genres.
In addition to TXT, Enhypen, and BoA, confirmed performers include AKMU, Viviz, Le Sserafim, Boynextdoor, and ILLIT. The festival will honor BoA's milestone anniversary with a tribute segment where younger artists will perform reimagined versions of her iconic tracks. BoA herself will also deliver a commemorative performance.
BoA, often referred to as the Star of Asia, debuted in 2000 and gained rapid fame with hits like "No. 1," "Atlantis Princess," and "My Name," playing a significant role in expanding K-pop across Asia, especially in Japan.
Hybe expressed in a statement, "This year's festival brings together the largest number of artists in its history at 27, including performers from musical theater and other new genres. As a music festival that bridges generations and transcends genres, we aim to offer a truly unforgettable experience for fans around the world."
