SEOUL: South Korea will experience predominantly sunny weather across its major cities on Thursday, with temperatures ranging from below freezing in the morning to mild highs in the afternoon. However, residents in Jeju and several other areas should prepare for cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul is expected to have clear skies with temperatures reaching a high of 6°C and a low of -3°C, accompanied by a zero percent chance of rain. Incheon will mirror these sunny conditions with slightly cooler temperatures, peaking at 4°C and dropping to -2°C overnight. Suwon and Daejeon will also enjoy sunny weather, with a slight 10 percent chance of rain predicted in Suwon.
The forecast indicates that Cheongju, Jeonju, and Gwangju will experience cloudier weather, with Cheongju and Jeonju having a 20 percent possibility of rain. Jeju stands out with a 30 percent chance of rain, the highest among the major cities, and temperatures ranging from a high of 12°C to a low of 6°C.
Chuncheon and Gangneung are expected to remain sunny with no chance of rain, while Daegu and Busan will also enjoy sunny weather, albeit with a minor chance of rain at 10 percent. Temperatures in Busan are anticipated to be among the warmest, with highs reaching 12°C.
