Seoul: A 40-something woman and her two daughters, aged between 10 and 19, have died after falling from a 12-story building in Seoul, officials said Wednesday. The tragic incident occurred near Deungchon Station in Seoul's western ward of Gangseo around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the three individuals were discovered on the ground after falling from the building's rooftop. Rescue authorities responded swiftly to the scene, but all three were found in a state of cardiac arrest. The mother and one of her daughters were declared dead at the scene, while the other daughter was transported to a hospital but did not survive.
Authorities have stated that there were no signs of foul play, and no suicide note was found. Police are set to investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths.
