It had been more than a year ago that Doosan Bears left-hander Choi Seung-yong last notched a victory in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO), when the 23-year-old took the mound against the Kia Tigers in Seoul on Thursday. And for a while in the first inning, it didn't appear as though Choi would end that drought on this muggy September night.Choi gave up a leadoff triple to Kim Do-yeong at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, and ended up allowing two runs in the opening frame. But he quickly settled down and ended up pitching a season-high six innings. He held the Tigers to three runs and struck out five in a 9-4 victory for the Bears.Source: Yonhap News Agency
