Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showed mixed performance with notable gains and losses. Among the prominent gainers were Yuhan, which rose by 2,800 to close at 119,100, and Hanwha Aerospace, which surged by 48,000 to finish at 1,107,000. Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics saw a decline, dropping by 300 to 83,900.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several other companies experienced changes in their stock prices. HD Hyundai Mipo increased by 8,900 to close at 203,500, while LS Electric rose by 10,000 to end at 284,500. On the downside, Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. decreased by 1,000 to 205,000, and LG Innotek fell by 2,800 to 187,800.
Further developments included Dongwon Industries gaining 600 to reach 45,450, and Kumho Petrochem rising by 800 to 104,400. However, GC Corp faced a decrease of 1,600, closing at 129,200, and HtlShilla experienced a decline of 2,400, ending at 51,400.
Other notable movements in the market included Korea Zinc, which went up by 4,000 to 921,000, and HDKSOE climbing by 11,000 to 411,000. Conversely, S-Oil dropped by 2,400 to 62,400, and Lotte Chemical Corp decreased by 1,400 to 67,700.
Additional changes saw Hanwha Solutions increasing by 100 to 28,550, and GS Retail rising by 100 to 16,650. Meanwhile, NHIS fell by 170 to 19,420, and Samsung Electronics Mech decreased by 4,100 to 193,500.
