KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements Across Major Stocks

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a varied performance as several key stocks registered both gains and losses. Hyundai Motor saw a decline, closing at 211,500 won, down by 1,500 won. In contrast, AmoreG experienced a rise, closing at 22,850 won, an increase of 1,600 won. NHIS also saw a decrease, ending at 13,470 won, down by 120 won.

According to Yonhap News Agency, KPIC recorded a gain, closing at 83,700 won, up by 2,500 won. Similarly, Mirae Asset Securities rose slightly to 8,170 won, increasing by 30 won. SKC and HS Hyosung Advanced also ended higher, with SKC at 117,900 won, up by 900 won, and HS Hyosung Advanced at 188,000 won, rising by 6,000 won.

Samsung Electronics and Hanmi Science both showed positive movements, closing at 55,900 won and 30,100 won, respectively. Samsung Electronics increased by 1,500 won, while Hanmi Science went up by 250 won. On the other hand, Ottogi closed higher at 390,500 won, gaining 1,000 won.

Samsung Electronics Mechanics and YoulchonChem also saw gains, with Samsung Electronics Mechanics surging to 130,900 won, up by 8,600 won, and YoulchonChem rising to 21,850 won, up by 350 won. Meanwhile, Hyosung Heavy experienced a significant decline, closing at 407,000 won, down by 10,500 won.

LG Energy Solution and HDKSOE both closed higher, with LG Energy Solution at 361,500 won, up by 5,500 won, and HDKSOE at 225,000 won, gaining 2,000 won. HtlShilla and GS Retail also ended the day in positive territory, closing at 38,300 won and 17,230 won, respectively.

Hanssem and SamyangFood were among the stocks that saw declines, with Hanssem closing at 47,700 won, down by 300 won, and SamyangFood at 734,000 won, decreasing by 7,000 won. Conversely, F and F and Hanwha Solutions recorded gains, closing at 61,100 won, up by 1,700 won, and 17,940 won, up by 60 won, respectively.

CJ Logistics, Doosan, and SamaAlum all witnessed upward movements, closing at 87,000 won, 294,500 won, and 36,950 won, respectively. ORION Holdings saw a slight decrease, ending at 15,030 won, down by 10 won.

KCC and SKBP recorded gains, with KCC closing at 237,000 won, up by 6,500 won, and SKBP at 110,400 won, up by 1,200 won. PIAM also rose to 19,000 won, gaining 300 won. However, MiwonComcl experienced a decline, closing at 181,100 won, down by 1,900 won.

SD Biosensor and SeAH Steel Holdings both saw gains, closing at 12,440 won and 182,500 won, respectively. Daewoong and CJ CheilJedang also ended higher, closing at 21,600 won and 252,500 won, respectively.

SKSQUARE and COSMOCHEM showed significant increases, with SKSQUARE closing at 93,100 won, up by 8,700 won, and COSMOCHEM at 18,550 won, up by 1,830 won. HITEJINRO and KorZinc, however, saw declines, closing at 19,530 won, down by 70 won, and 931,000 won, down by 17,000 won, respectively.

Lastly, Samsung Heavy Industries and LS Electric both closed in positive territory, with Samsung Heavy Industries at 11,420 won, up by 10 won, and LS Electric at 175,000 won, up by 800 won. POSCO International also edged higher, closing at 41,950 won, up by 50 won.
