Seoul: South Korean bond yields showed a decline across several durations on January 14, 2025, with various treasury bonds and monetary stabilization bonds reflecting a downward trend.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond yield decreased to 2.650% from the previous session's 2.663%, marking a change of -1.3 basis points. The 2-year treasury bond yield fell to 2.709% from 2.720%, a shift of -1.1 basis points. Similarly, the 3-year treasury bond yield saw a decline, dropping to 2.646% from 2.664%, which is a decrease of -1.8 basis points.
The 10-year treasury bond yield also experienced a reduction, moving to 2.841% from 2.871%, a change of -3.0 basis points. In addition, the 2-year monetary stabilization bond yield decreased to 2.659% from 2.681%, representing a decline of -2.2 basis points. The 3-year corporate bond (AA-) yield fell slightly to 3.292% from 3.306%, marking a change of -1.4 basis points.
The 91-day certificate of deposit remained stable with no change, holding steady at 3.000%.
