Seoul: Poongsan Corp. on Tuesday reported its 2024 net profit of 236 billion won (US$162.4 million), marking a 50.9 percent increase from the previous year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company announced in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the year increased by 41.6 percent on-year to 323.8 billion won. Additionally, Poongsan's annual sales saw a rise of 10.4 percent, reaching 4.55 trillion won.
The significant growth in net profit underscores Poongsan's robust performance amid challenging market conditions. The company's strategic initiatives and operational efficiency appear to have contributed to this financial success.
