Hyundai Motor and Sendy Collaborate to Launch AI-Driven Logistics Service

Seoul: Hyundai Motor Co. announced a collaboration with Sendy, a South Korean cargo logistics platform operator, to introduce an AI-based logistics service utilizing Hyundai's ST1 electric commercial vehicle. Under a memorandum of understanding, Hyundai and Sendy will merge their technologies to create an intelligent and environmentally friendly freight platform.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the partnership involves integrating Hyundai's ST1 vehicles with Sendy's AI logistics optimization system, which is designed to recommend optimal delivery routes and reduce empty return trips. Hyundai will provide critical vehicle data and technical support to ensure the efficient functioning of the AI system.

The new service is set to debut in the second quarter in the greater Seoul area, with plans to expand to major cities across the country. Hyundai's goal is to have 100 units operational by the end of the year. A Hyundai official commented that the collaboration aims to establish a new paradigm in AI-powered smart transport.
